Updates abt me:

yeayea.. i've completed my specialist diploma in SCM and hv gotten my results!!!

All pass with quite gd grades except only 1 module..

Feel so relieved that i've finished my studies and now i can hv more time to relax n enjoy life..

Perphaps the next step is to do a job search to wrk in wat i had studied n get a higher pay..

Aim to earn my desired salary when i reach age 30.

Now the critical part is my punggol flat shld be coming the next yr, so perphaps i shld continue to stay in this current company which is located @ jurong? until next year then i change job? im still pondering over it.. Maybe i shld do a job search first then see how..

Used to be a distant with them but ever since i had moved in and sit with them in the same room, things changed. I had become more closer with them and i felt quite happy abt it.. Closer but the fact is, colleague is still colleague, alot of stuffs especially personal stuffs i still don feel quite secure telling them..

and im not gd at judging who is gd or bad.. so the best choice is not to tell them anything, if really wana say, the things that say out must be not a secret.. lol

My Hubby:

He had been working quite hard and trying to endure for his job that are with many shifts.. It really tired him out.. Thanks Dear..

My Siblings:

Hope my siblings are happy with their job, studies and life.. Hope to have more bonding with them but it seems to be quite difficult cos we all don have a habit to share our things.. We're a quiet family.. But to me, family is very impt... i am trying to care by talking more with them although im nt very gd with words.. seriously sometimes im lost at words becos i really got nothing much to say but im learning to talk more.. =D i hope they can feel that and also make effort to create bonding with all of us and not live in their own world...

My Parents:

Hope to be able to give them more $ next year and bring them to travel and eat gd food..

It's a brand new year again!

Looking back on year 2009 resolutions:

1) To slim down my waist back to 24cm

2) To make my skin whiter & smoother

3) To make my hair more silky

4) To excerise at least once a week

5) To study short courses to increase my "market value"

6) To learn to communicate well with people, speak & express myself well

7) To be more closer with my family,hubby, friends & colleagues

I've made 7 resolutions, end up i only achieved 2 & 1/2. haha

My 2009 achievement -

Attended a advance diploma in Supply Chain Mgmt

Improved relationship with my colleagues

Greater Bonding with hubby

Now, moving on to year 2010 resolutions:

THis year shall be a more relax year with focus on family and hubby bonding as follows:

1) Treat my mum and sis go batam/msia trip by dec 2010

2) Go overseas trip with Hubby by dec 2010

Having noticed that i did not achieve much in year 2009, i decided to set lesser resolutions for 2010 to make it more achieveable.

Main priority will be on family & Hubby bonding, saving more $ and self-confidence enhancement. ..

Above phrase i had gotten from reading www.bryanomhealth.blogspot.com. i think it is indeed not very easy to not bear grudges on people who make us feel hurt. We gotta learn to let go becos eventually the one who bear grudges, hurts not the people who hurt us, but hurts ourselves and our love ones.

Cheap fringe rebonding - 03.10.09

Went to do fringe rebonding at a recommended place by my colleague - serene.

It's very cheap, she cuted my fringe + rebonding fringe.. Guess what?? it's only cost me $10.

Though the result is not that fantastic but i think it's well worth the price.. afterall, it's only $10, what can we expect right?

By the way, it's done in a auntie's house. Not very professional though.

Not recommended for full length rebonding as i feel the result not very good - seems hair will be very flat and looks alittle dry. But if rebond fringe only, i think it's okay. u may wish to try it out yourself at:

My 26th Birthday

Omg! im 26 years old this year liao.

Time flies.. still feel like as if im 21.. But im beginning to accept the fact and actually starting to behave more like what a 26 years old shld be.. Perphaps its the start of changing my style and the way i act.. No more childishness..

On actual day 30.09.09, had breakfast with my mum and hubby at my house market there before we go to vivo city.

Wanted to eat a big feast but thinking back the buffet at vivo doesnt seems too tempting.

End up, we ate a simple meal together.

Walked around, bought a wine from giant and some food to be cooked by hubby during dinner.

Although, this year, my birthday celebration is very simple but im happy enough to have my hubby and family celebrating with me.

Not forgetting to thank my hubby and my friends for their presents. i like them alot!! it's all very useful to me.

Long time didnt blog, ever since i took up a course in SP. Currently im having a school break as i've finished my 3 modules - materials mgmt, warehouse mgmt and supply chain mgmt with plently of assignments and exams. It was a hectic and tiring course due to the fact that i've plently of assignments - a total 6assignments for 3 modules!! and 3 exams.. once after assigments ended, straight away is preparation for exams.. so STress..

However, i do enjoyed attending this course despite the stressfulness and it "toook away my lovely weekends" - as i need to do my assignments. I meet some nice friends and a lecturer which actually teach us alot, not only in lessons but real life too..

Now., i'm having a 1 and 1/2 mth sch break.. Soo... im enjoying my short moments of freedom now, busy catching up with frens, watching my fav shows, accompanying my family & 60.

Next after sch break, will be 3 new modules which will end at Mar'10. Seriously i hope this course will faster end soon.. haha.. it's taxing me out..

Finally, after this course, i deeply realise that im not really gd at studies cum wrking.. it's too tiring.. i really admire those who can manage to take a part-time deg cum working full time. It really require alot of determnaton, perservance which im lacking of.

Anyway, still got few months to go and im free from studies!! i somehow hope Mar'10 will come soon.

QUESTION ..4: How does he/she treat other people? The one most important thing that makes any relationship work is the ability to give. By giving, we mean the ability to give another personpleasure. Ask: Is this someone who enjoys giving pleasure to others or are they wrapped up in themselves and self absorbed? To measure this, think about the following: How do they treat people whom they do not have to be nice to, such as waiters, bus boys, taxi drivers, etc.. How do they treat their parents and siblings? Do they have gratitude and appreciation? If theydon't have gratitude for the people who have given them everything; can you do nearly as much for them? You can be sure that someone, who treats others poorly, will eventually treat you poorly as well.

QUESTION ..5: Is there anything I'm hoping to change about this person after we're married?Too many people make the mistake of marrying someone with the intention of trying to 'improve' them after they're married. As a colleague of mine puts it: 'You can probably expect someone to change after marriage for the worse' If you cannot fully accept this person the way they are now, then you are not ready to marry them. In conclusion, dating doesn't have to be difficult and treacherous.

Received a unexpected call on 10 Apr'09, Fri from Singapore Polytechnic (SP) that there's vacancy for Apr'09 intake for Specialist Diploma in Supply Chain Management (SSCM) which i intended to take during Oct'09 as the course is fully booked for Apr'09 intake when i want to apply during Jan'09.

It was totally unexpected and i've to complete registration by 13 Apr'09, Mon. I took a day off on 17 Apr'09, Fri as i need to go down SP to do registration. Hubby came to Dover mrt to meet me straight after yesterday night-shift of work. Thanks my dear!

Tiong Bahru Plaza was not an interesting place and as a shopping centre, it was not very cooling.

We had a morning porridge buffet for $6.90++, including GST will be $8.00 per pax.

It's a great deal especially for people who like chinese cuisine food. (Great for our parents!)

Faced a greal deal of difficulties at work.

But i wanted to be happy. It did not affect me alot but it make my brain never stop thinking - Alot of Reflections even before i sleep and awake.

Im happy when i see my newly perm hair.

Im happy when i have confidence in myself.

Im happy when im with my hubby.

Im happy when i got time to accompany my mum.

Im happy when i make my house clean.

Im happy when i can control my thinkings to be postive.

Im happy when i meet up with my frens.

Im happy when i had a great and nice converstions with ppl.

Im happy when my love ones are happy.

Im happy when im close with my family,60 & frens.

Was feeling weird for the below 2 past incidents:

Scenairo 1:

Cuurent - @ new co.

My colleague Girl A walked past me, i smell her body frangrance and sincerely felt that she was smelling nice. i praised her and say: " Hey, u smelled nice! i cannot stop smelling the nice smell.

I was waiting for her to say: "Really?" before i carry on to ask her what perfume u r wearing?"

But she did not say anything and give me a strange look which make me thinking in my heart and wonder what she actually thinks?? I was thinking is it i looked insincere or my expression does nt really show that im praising her?? She makes me think that she dosent seem to believe in what i say.

Scenairo 2:

Past - @ Ex-co.

On my way to wrk, i saw my colleague walking infront of me and i noticed that she's wearing quite pretty today. I told her and she reacted coldly. She also nv say anything and give me the impression that she thinks im not saying the truth.

Im totally quite puzzled that y these ppl react this way? Shldnt they feel happy when ppl praised them ? or they think im mocking at them? im really not and im sincere. Feel so sian with these kind of reactions that these ppl give me. What's wrong with them? or is it im the wrong one?

Scenairo 3:

Current - with my gd fren

I was having a short black hair with straight fringe. My gd fren commented that i look CUTE and look like a xiao wan zi ( a cartoon character). I was pretty happy with her compliment and even took it for real as i myself also felt that i looked ok in this new haircut.

Months later - after my hair grew alittle longer, i decided to dye my hair brown & get a new specs to make myself look trendier becos i felt that i look stupid in this black hair n black specs. (i heard my new colleague commented that i look like the "rabbit" - 1 of the singers participant in the superband (her style was those nerdy type) and i seeked my ex-colleague opinion and she also say i look abit stupid in this hairstyle. Hencce it realy confirmed that i looked stupid and nerdy with my black hair and black specs.

After i dyed, i was chatting with my gd fren and showed her my current hairstyle. I asked her :"Did i look better in this new dyed hair?" She say "yeah" and i asked her" i looked stupid right in my previous black hair?" she agreed and i straightforwardly asked her:" then y u nv tell me? and she replied:" i saw that u r quite satisfied in this hairstyle and so i nv say anything.

I was quite piss off with my fren not becos she nv tell me the truth for my previous black hair but is becos if she don feel that my hair is nice, y she wanted to praise me that i look cute? No wonder when she say i looked cute, she's always laughing at me. WTF!

im trying to link my scenairo 3 with scenairo 1 & 2. is it these ppls expreience what i expreience in scenairo 3, hence when i praised them, they thought i was not real?

山药(shan Yao) ,薏仁(barley), 红枣 (red dates), rice 粥

Cooking methods:
* Estimate cooking ingredients. This applies to the above ingredients for the porridge as well ( if not just 100 gram each).
* Sliced up fresh Shan Yao. Put barley, Shan Yao, red dates (remove seeds) and add 1/3 cup of rice into a pot of water. Boil till it becomes porridge.

Eat this porridge twice a day for 3 days. It is good for skin itchness, allergy and dull skin. Good for those who feel a lack of energy and having sluggish system. This porridge also help slimming :)

Saw above DIY beauty porridge from Bryan blog. Felt that it's simple to cook and most impt - BEAUTY!!!

i love reading http://www.bryanomhealth.blogspot.com/ becos he teaches me alot of DIY and save $ methods on health & beauty. Those beauty products selling outside are pretty expensive, hence i'll try use DIY and food methods to beautify my face especially in those days where i got
breakouts during my 20-22 i think.

Erm Bryan's facial products seems good, but to me now, it's still alittle expensive. I think i might consider buying next time when i earn more. Meanwhile just learn abit here and there to DIY ba. Cheaper. hahaha

For me, i don really buy their expensive products, i just read the info here and there and follow those that's good and DIY and affordable methods.

FEELING GOOD

Today my hubby praised me that im beautiful. i'm overwhelmed with joy!
He seldom mention abt how pretty i look unless i asked him. haha Guess i really improved alot.

To me, being pretty is not an easy thing as im not born to be a pretty gal.

i've no looks nor gd figure.

All is gained from HARD WORK! Being pretty for me, need to sacrifice alot of things - my favourite fried fd!!! and need to be really really very diligent & be careful of what i eat.

Sometimes i really wonder, how do all these pretty gals maintain their gd image?

They seems so effortless in doing it.

I was very discipline when my face was having outbreaks during my age of 20-22 years old but ever since my face become better, i had been always giving in to my temptations for my cravings of my fav fd like lasksa, fried chicken wings,fried kway teow etc etc.

But i guess i shld STOP eating these unhealthy fd for a mth from nw onwards. Not only becos of gd skin but also becos my left kidney have been giving me pros. Most impt is, i don really sweat and excerise. Think my body have too many toxics inside.

Hope God can bless that my left kidney will recover soon and stop giving me pain.!

Im still feeling happy @ heart for my 60's praise. Thanks Dear!! i'll continue to work hard, starting from tmr onwards. =)

Excerise + sufficient water + more fruits + more veges + gd facial products + gd sleeping habit + a happy mind & heart = PRETTY SANDRA!!

My Portable DVD player

It was a be-early valentine gift from my darling. We went to AMK Hub on 03 feb'09, tuesday together with his dad after our dinner. Intention was to shop around and also to look for his want to buy things - shoe cover & bag.

WE went to NTUC and saw this DVD player. It was multi-function and most imptly color was clear. Initially i didnt really like the appearance, but after seeing it the second time, i begin to fall in love with it.

I felt very xinfu on that day. Reason not only becos of DVD player, but also of my darling - caring & gentle attitude. Felt so sweet. Thanks Dear.

Supposingly, my darling wanted to buy me a diamond ring which he "owes" me during the proposal, but after shopping together and viewing so many rings, i felt that it was too expensive for those that i like. I told him not to buy but to buy only when he earn more in future. My darling was apologetic for not buying the ring. I assured him that im okay.

To be really Frank, im really okay. To me, most impt is the attitude & caringness towards me i realise. Gifts are just a little bonus to make me happy.

Most impt is to be good to each other.

Happy Chinese New Year

First of all, Happy New Year to everyone!!

Was at my hubby hse during New year eve. Felt abit gulity for not staying at own family hm to spend New year eve . My hubby came to my hse for reunion lunch and later on i went to his hougang hse for reunion dinner. Hence, decided to stay at his hse for convenience sake so that i don have to go hm at night and hubby to fetch me in the early morning the next day.

If only, we stay near to each other. how nice!

Normally in the past, i don go his hse for reunion dinner cos of inconvenience like the above case. But this year decided to go and my hubby compromise to stay my hse till chu-er so i agreed. haha

New year resolutions for 2009: (must accomplish!!)

1) To slim down my waist back to 24cm
2) To make my skin whiter & smoother
3) To make my hair more silky
4) To excerise at least once a week
5) To study short courses to increase my "market value"

6) To learn to communicate well with people, speak & express myself well
7) To be more closer with my family,hubby, friends & colleagues

After that, we went to my hm and went to my god-ma hse together with my mum, sis TING & bro BEE and stayed there till abt 10pm. My hubby & i left first cos we were too tire after the whole day of visting relatives and waking up too early. (we're early wakers)

Had a great & long chat with bro BOY and Hubby, ate a favourite spicy cup noodles and went to sleep at almost 2am! (There's goes my beauty sleep 11-2am). Luckily, nv breakout pimples. heng ah. haha God bless me.

Chu-er:

Waked up early despite late night sleep on chu-yi. Went to nearby coffeeshop and had a not really yummy ban-mian for breakfast together with hubby & mum.

After that, we head towards to JE temple(the temple which we normally go to pray tai-shui during new year). Have a long list of wishes @ heart and prayed to the deity(oops i forgot what's the name of the deity). hehe. Then we went hm again.

Waited for my mum to cook up some dishes for lunch, we ate together with my other siblings and watched TV again.

Next, we bring my mum to JP to watch hui-ge movie. The show was quite nice but not really that fantastic like "Follow the law". That's what i feel. But it's still funny.

After this, we bought my mum to eat.

chu-san:

I was supposed to report to work on this day but i took a leave. I took my parents to JP to zhou's kitchen to eat Dim sum lunch.

Today acompanied my hubby to sg expo - SITEX SHOW to get his long waited SLR Camera.
We had a hard time deciding which to get, afterall it's so expensive, so we must really get a good & worhwhile one.

Choosing btw Nikon & Canon, end up we decided to get Canon 450D.

Canon 450D is much cheaper and it seems to be more user-friendly for entry level people like my hubby.

Although it's very costly, $1299, but i feel quite happy for my hubby becos he's happy. This is his hard-earn own $, and he's been wanting to buy for many years, there's no reason i shld STOP him for buying.

In the past,I used to be quite particular with people/myself spending on too costly/unnecccessary items which i think it's very wasting of hard-earn $.

But don know why as age passed by, i changed. I just sort of feel that, as long as u can balance btw your spendings & savings, y not? Sometimes, u really need to dote urself alittle to reward urself so that u can continue to lead ur life in a much more happier way.

Afterall, LIFE IS SHORT, u never know what will happen tomorrow. So treasure & be gd to people/urself.

Just rem, SPEND wisely to make u happy/dote urself, but don overspend to TORTURE urself . Perphaps i shld say BE A MASTER TO YOUR $ AND NOT A SLAVE TO UR $.

Searching own talent

Finally it's a gd time for me to lead a gd & fulfiling life. Just changed a new job to a Germany company, nearby to my place, sharp knock off time with little OT required, which able to give me ample time to lead a life that not only about WORK, WORK & WORK.

I'm quite happy with it but sad at the same time because it doesnt seem easy to face/deal with so many people. Been struggling for almost 2 mths, but still find that it's not easy. Cos im not really a interesting & appealing person. Or perphaps im just too self-conscious. Sometimes when u expect too much/too stress, things just doesnt work well.

I really hope to be close & gd with colleagues which once again disappointed me. In this working society, everyone is just only too concern abt themselves. Maybe im trying too hard until it disappointed me/expected too much/too anxious. It may sound ridiculous, but it matters to me. Afterall, we are facing them for so many hours right? Maybe it's not really easy to get a true/trusted friend @ working society nowadays.

Hence, i decided not to CARE too much abt these colleagues' relationships thingy & decided to place my focus on my work performance instead. Just keep reminding myself that - i WORK TO LIVE. Perphaps it'll make me feel better this way. Let things takes its natural course. Whenever im too bothered/expected too much abt something, the results always turn to be negative.

I should stop the habit of taking things too hard/expect too much. It's just part of me, which abit difficult to change. But im trying to change becos i wan to be happy!! I should spend more time on things I CAN DO/CHANGE, instead of thinking these & that.

So, back to the topic - Searching Own Talent. This is the part which i decided to take action. I want to find a gd & interesting course/hobby which is fulfilling to myself and can improve me to become a better person. I do not want to WASTE my life away on negative things/people/thoughts.

Music - from young, i realised that i love music alot especially PIANO/ORGAN. After listening to a particular song, i'm able to play the song out. But is this consider a talent? haha

Well, that's the only thing im good at, at the moment. haha

Hmm, think i really need to go search for a gd & cheap course @ community centre first. =D

Meet Chatty Shidwan @ yishun & took bus with her to sentosa (Calis's wedding venue). It was pretty long - almost 1hr. But thanks God im with her, at least got a companion to chat with.
